A floating shelf built for the corner, where small rooms often have their only open space. It hangs on hidden brackets with no visible hardware.
The mahogany runs deep reddish brown with a tight, even grain, and darkens a shade over the years. Sizes run 12, 14, or 16 inches along each wall.
The board is solid wood, an inch and a half thick. Seen flat on it is a triangle with the point curved off, so it fills the corner completely and nothing juts into the room. It mounts into both walls at the corner, so it holds steady. For a darker shelf, order it in walnut stain. It also comes in oak, and in poplar for painting.
